It’s widely quoted that the vast majority of bloggers stop writing within the first year or so of blogging. While I’m guilty of a far-too-long lapse, I don’t want to become part of that statistic.

Therefore, I’m relaunching This Media Moment on WordPress. You can find my old site here with all of my media musings. I’ll continue to follow the TMM motto: “Covering the press. Pressing for improved coverage.” And now I’ll be writing frequently about online journalism. Why? I’m taking a course at the University of Maryland, where I’m a Ph.D. student and adjunct instructor, entitled (wait for it….) online journalism.

I’m excited to be back. Thanks for sticking with me.
